as most of you know, i’ve taken a lengthy break from making beats over the last 2 or 3 years while i focus 100% on my photo/video work, but things got very quiet on that front during lockdown and i ended up producing beats again, more for therapy than anything else
i’ve always wanted to put out a release featuring a mix of rappers so this is my humble attempt at doing just that

i’ve settled on these 15 beats so am now looking for 15 of you to jump on them (one beat per rapper is what i had in my head but i’m open to other ideas if you have them)
i’ve met/worked with most of you before, but i couldn’t resist trying to reach out to a few new faces too and some mates of mates. mad talents all round so if you’re reading this then just know i think you’re INCREDIBLY fucking sick at your craft. i also totally understand if this project isn’t for you rn. focus on your thing and keep moving up. powers your way. its all love <3

you know i love vinyl. we all do right? so fuck it, we’re pressing this shit.
the plan is a very limited run of double 12” vinyl packs. Disc 1 (A+B sides) will have all your vocal mixes cut to them and then disc 2 (sides C+D) will feature the 15 instrumentals.
every rapper involved will receive physical copies
cassettes are also highly likely as well as obviously a digital release

i like the flow of the track order as it is but i may well change it depending on what you lot do over the beats. similarly the title of the whole project will be confirmed after vocals are laid.
as you can hear, the volumes are currently -6db as they are yet to be mastered. the mixes are 99% there though so you should be able to get a good feel for the sound.
we’ll fine tune the mixes after your vocals are in and then get everything mastered for the various final formats
i’m happy to shorten/lengthen instrumentals slightly if you have any requests on that front (i also have versions without the voiceover samples that currently appear on some of the beats so shout if you want those for tracking your parts).

i don’t wanna overcomplicate the process so just buzz me if you have any further Qs about anything.
